Today is New Years Day, I hope you had a Holy Christmas and enjoy a Happy New Year.
The year 2018 has been a very busy year for our post, we have assisted/donated to 39 different people and charities, some on multiple ocassions. We have voted to increase our three scholarships from $500.0 to $1000.00. We also voted to fully fund the veteran’s brakfast at the Woodbury School. Donated $10.00 to each of the residents at the Veteran’s Home, in TiltonBoscawen, NH. We held our third Memorial Service at our Memorial Stone in Pine Grove Cemetery. Placed wreaths at each of the seven flags at the Veteran’s Memorial, placed a wreath at our Mmorial Stone and a wreath at each of the graves of two of our deceaded commanders ( this was all at the Pinr Grove Cemetery). We then went to Mt. Pleasant cemetery and placed wreaths on the other two past commanders.

I will be stepping down as AMVETS – Post 2 – Commander. I want you to know that it was an honor and a privilege to serve as your Commander, but now it is time for a new commander. I will be taking a year away from all offices (AMVETS – VFW – K of C). Dennis Coleman has said that he will take over the coordinating of our White Clover Program, give him the support you have always given me.
