Another AMVET gone

I have received the sad news of the passing of San Zouranjian, Past Commander of Watertown’s Post 41. I had visited him a few months ago at the Bedford VA with Camille and he seemed OK so tha ios somewhat of a shock.Sam served in the Army Air Corps as a flight drew on a B-24 in the Pacific called “The Jungle Air Force” – I think it was the 9th AF.
Commander Zouranjian authorized me to institute the Veterans History Project at Post 41 which grew to Department  strength. Whether Department will continue with it is a question because I have not heard from anyone interested in providing a History of their service that I can record when this years’ Convention in Sturbridge convenes.
Too late do we realize the vale of our veterans and their stories and now it becomes a matter of too little too late.
